| Chinese traditional festivals become the important window to show the Chinesetraditional culture with their public participation, periodicity and recessiveenlightenment characteristics. The Internet promotes the Chinese and Western culturalcollided, exchanged and blended with each other, so contemporary students areaffected by multi culture more and more. Under this background, improving students’cultural identity of Chinese traditional festivals is good for strengthening thepopularity and identity of socialist advanced culture, inheriting national spirit andincreasing the cohesion of China.This thesis mainly focuses on quantitative research, and chooses literatureresearch, questionnaire and interview as the primary research methods. Starting fromthe view of cultural identity theoretical, the students from8universities in Zhejiangwere interviewed and investigated. Then using the SPSS17.0software., this thesisexplored the current situation, problems and countermeasures of Chinese traditionalfestival culture identity of college students. There are three points as following:(1)With regard to the acknowledgement of traditional festivals culture, most studentshave more superficies on traditional festivals. But the situation is not ideal whenrelated to the deeper connotation involved in the festivals.(2) In terms of the attitudesof traditional festivals culture, most college students recognize and cherish Chinesetraditional festivals. They are optimistic about the development, innovation andinternational recognition of traditional Chinese culture. But most of them are lack ofobservation and thinking from the perspective of cultural safety about the blend ofChinese and Western traditional festivals. Move over, they aren’t adequately preparedin thought and action to inherit and develop Chinese excellent traditional festivalculture.(3) Regarding to the behavior in the traditional festivals, most of thecontemporary college students hold the attitude of compatible with anything, which isthat participating in Chinese traditional festivals and western festivals is equallyimportant. On the way to participate in China’s traditional festivals, they combinemore age elements with the value of more entertaining.In summary, based on the theory of the formation and influence mechanism ofcultural identity, to enhance the cultural identity of Chinese traditional festivals of college students, it not only needs Chinese traditional festivals connotation with thetimes, but also needs to learn the advanced festival culture. Schools also shouldstrengthen the teaching with festival culture in classroom, and focus on extracurricularfestival cultural infiltration. Finally, through frosting and improving the personalChinese traditional festivals and cultural awareness, the effect of enhancing festivalcultural identity could be achieved. |
