Companies are putting more and more efforts on attracting highly educated graduates. Under the circumstances that more and more students are irrationally pursuiting jobs, companies have to hold big recruiting activities and do a lot of recruiting advertisements to attract these graduates. However, excellent students oftern receive many offers in the same time and can choose only one in the end and reject other offers. Therefore, the efforts companies have put in many not yield good results, leading to low recruitment efficiency. To better attract highly educated graducates and increase Company’s recruitment efficieny, companies have to know more about the choosing mechanism during graduates’job pursuit period. This study is to analyze the impact of recruitment information sources on job pursuit intention.This study first goes throught all the past studies on recruitment information sources and then establishes the study model of the impact of recruitment information sources on job pursuit intention. Based on mature questionnaires abroad, we’ve done a questionnaire study on highly educated graduates in universities and have collected216effective samples. We have arrived at the following conclusions based on Theory of Planned Behavior and Hierarchical Linear Model:1. Recruitment information sources including Internet, word of mouth and publicity are positively related to job pursuit intention. Campus information source is not related to job pursuit intention.2. Theory of Planned Behavior mediates the impact of recruitment information sources on job pursuit intention. Job pursuit attitude completely mediates the the impact of recruitment information sources on job pursuit intention, and subjective norm partially mediates the impact of word of mouth on job pursuit intention.3. Locus of control moderates the relationship of attitude and subjective norm with job pursuit intention. Internality moderates the the relationship of attitude with job pursuit intention, and powerful others moderates the relationship of subjective norm with job pursuit intention.This study is an exploratory study of recruitment informations source in our country and have enriched the content of recruitment informations source. The results of the study have meaning to both higly educated graduates and companies’s recruitment practices.
