"Immaterial labor" refers to the production of information, cultural content,service and affective labor. It is producing goods and also a relationship of capital."Immaterial labor" concept theoretically characterize the production developmenttrend of contemporary capitalist society and the resulting changes in the socialrelations.Starting from the unique meaning of the concept of "immaterial labor", this paperexplores how "immaterial labor" potentially helping to build global hegemonycapitalism, and shows the world’s three contradictions driven by "immaterial labor":contradictions of national boundaries of fuzziness and the dependence of the sharp,social relations of dependence and of unprecedented isolation, contradictions of theidentical and reflective individual; At the same time revealing the mandatory andoccult characteristics of capital power. Ultimately seeking possibilities in the field oftechnology, capital, and aesthetic for the liberation of labor.As a contrast to the problems of labor and division of labor, this paper also focuson the "division of knowledge" issue relating with "immaterial labor". Compare thehomogeneous and heterogeneous structures between "division of labor" and "divisionof knowledge". Explore the internal consistency in the two kinds of logic, andtentatively sum up the following two logic: The historical law of the spirit of labor on"division of knowledge" implicating in "division of labor" on the base of collaborativecorporate personality; And the high-level transformation from scattered knowledge tocomprehensive knowledge on the base of the difference of individual personality from"division of labor" to "division of labor".
