Research On The Relationship Of Learning Approach And Family Cultural Capital Of Children In Senior Classe

Nowadays, more and more people start to pay attention to the importance of learning approach. Approaches toward learning have great impact not only on school readiness but also on the academic achievement and school adjustment. Learning approach had been concerned about social status and family parenting style. But, there was little research about the influence of family cultural capital.This study analyzed the connection between learning approach and family cultural capital.We took one of the kindergartens in Tianjin as the object of the research. We collected data by using test and questionnaire. The conclusions of this study were as follows:1. The persistence and attention got the highest point, while the lowest point was reflection and interpretation. There were significant differences about curiosity and interest in different ages that the fact was the older got the higher scores. There were significant differences in gender except the dimension of persistence and attention. There was a significant difference about reflection and interpretation in different mother income while the middle group was the highest.2. There was a significant difference about institutionalized form of family cultural capital in different mother income and different father income. The more income mother got, the higher level child was. Children in the least father income group got the lowest scores. While there was no significant difference in different gender and different family types.3. The reflection and interpretation in learning approach had significantly positive correlation with the family cultural capital. There was a significant difference between the highest group of the reflection and interpretation and the lowest group of the reflection and interpretation about family cultural capital. The highest group of the reflection and interpretation got higher except the state of embodied state.
