"Chinese characteristics theory and practice of socialism"(hereinafter referred to as "in particular" Curriculum) is the ideological and political theory courses required course of graduate students (hereinafter referred to as the graduate). In the course of teaching practice, there are some differences between students of different professional disciplines, has some practical significance for the study of graduate students under the different disciplines," in particular " teaching effectiveness.In the graduate group, the number of engineering graduate student is the most, the proportion reached34.2%(2011), far higher than the other branch of learning. In view of the amount of engineering graduate students and its own characteristics, taking G University for example, through research and analysis of the teaching effectiveness of "special" course, we hope to further improve the engineering graduate students, especially the G University of engineering graduate "special" course teaching effectiveness to provide help.According to the logical thinking problems, analyze and solve problems, this article from the purpose and significance of the research background, firstly, analysis the realistic problems in teaching and on the basis of literatures, determine the research ideas and methods; the "special" course characteristics and teaching effectiveness of the related theory, from the students, teachers, teaching content, social medium, five substantial factors (factors) as the theoretical framework; on this basis, empirical research at the University of G design and implementation, and based on the results of the survey of engineering research, G university students "the effectiveness of specific" teaching and the existing problems were analyzed; and from the perspective of factors the five influence, and analyzes the deep causes of these problems, and targeted from the five aspects respectively "several suggestions are proposed to improve the effectiveness of teaching in the course.".
