Along with the social progress and economic development, the requirements to the employees are increasing day by day, more higher requirements are put forward for teachers in higher vocational education. Teachers’ entrance qualification is the stipulation for teachers.Strictly demand for the teachers’entrance is the necessary premise for develop higher vocational education.There is no standard teachers’ approval for higher vocational education at present in China. Australian vocational education, by contrast, develop rapidly. Australia have strict standards and specificatio ns for higher vocational education teachers. This article analyse Australian construction of higher vocational education system, elaborate Australian vocational education teachers’ approval from three aspects, respectively are professional qualification requirements, vocational education teachers’ qualification certificate and practice ability.Learning from Australian vocational education teachers’ antrance,we can find some problems of higher vocational education teachers’approval in china:no formal specification of higher vocational teachers’ approval; Teachers’ qualification certificate did not play a role of "access", exam content lacks of pertinence; Teachers’ qualification certificate lifetime effective, which is unfavorable for higher vocational teachers’ professional development; the settings of Teachers’ qualification certificate department is not scientific. Therefore, we must standardize our country’s higher vocational education teachers’approval; reform the examination means of teachers’ qualification certificate; strengthening the regular audit of teachers’ qualification certificate; set up specialized accrediting agencies for teachers’ qualification certificate.
