Vocational education is an important part of the education in our country and its purposeis to train senior professional and technical personnel. Vocational education plays animportant role in promoting national economic development. Therefore, it is very important toinvestigate vocational school students’ learning burnout, learning motivation, specialtyidentity and their related influence factors.This study compiled by "Learning Burnout Questionnaire" of Lian Rong (2005),"Learning Motivation Questionnaire" of Huang Xiting and "Speciality Identity Questionnaire"of Qin Pan Bo (2009), which investigated vocational college students of grade one or two inHebei vocational college of rail transportation. The purpose is to investigate the difference ofvocational school students’ learning burnout, learning motivation and speciality identity ingender, grade, family location and situation, to explore the relationship between the threeaspects, and to supplement and perfect the relevant theory and research.The result shows vocational college students have individual differences in learningburnout, learning motivation and specialty identity. It also shows that there is a significantcorrelation between the three aspects:(1) The status of vocational school students’ learning burnout: Higher vocational studentshave lower degree of learning Burnout than secondary vocational students. Secondaryvocational students have significant differences of family situation in the depressed dimension.Higher vocational students have significant grade difference in the depressed dimension.(2) The status of vocational school students’ learning motivation: Secondary vocationalstudents have significant gender differences in the social orientation and pursuit of materialdimensions. They also have significant differences of family situation in the social orientationand personal achievement dimensions.(3) The status of vocational school students’ specialty identity: Secondary vocationalstudents have significant differences of gender and family situation in the cognitive andemotional dimensions. Higher vocational students have significant gender differences in thespeciality identity and cognitive dimension.(4) Total score of learning motivation is significantly negatively correlated with learning burnout, which has significant negative predictive effect on the learning burnout scores.Stronger learning motivation can make lower degree of learning burnout.(5) Total score of specialty identity is significantly negatively correlated with learningburnout, which has significant negative predictive effect on the learning burnout scores. Thehigher degree of specialty identity can make lower degree of learning burnout.
