Currently, moral education reform is one of the priorities in education reform inChina. As a result, moral evaluation for primary school pupils plays an important role inthe moral education. It refers to an evaluation process for the formation anddevelopment of primary school pupils’ behavior, according to the moral standards andvalues from a conductor of educational activities. This thesis is backed by theories ofnatural education, lives and life education, including political quality, moral quality, lawand discipline quality, psychological quality and civic quality. Take for example theprimary school of Hunan University, this paper in-depth analyzes present situation ofChinese moral evaluation for primary school pupils, and found that the commonlyexisting problems include the value of moral evaluation has been blinded by academicachievement, the lack of the nature of life, overemphasis on logic and program, thelimitation to teachers and even to the headteacher and the lack of evaluationdiversification, and so on.This thesis has also considered the moral evaluation of primary school pupils andproposed multi-perspective, multi-methods and diversification to analyze and solveproblems in attempt to diversify the goal, content and subject of evaluation methodology.Based on this sample of moral evaluation, the author proposes a new appraisal guidingideology, evaluation principle, evaluation content (civic literacy, life consciousness andself-awareness), new approach (in life, in activity, in game and in teaching evaluation ofall subjects) and new method (pay attention to observation, learn to listen, give hint andwait for emerge).The aim of this work is to explore new approaches for moral evaluation afterscientific discussion of the problems and solutions in the evaluation of pupils’ morality.It is beneficial to improve moral evaluation and promote the development of pupils’morality and the implementation of schools’ moral evaluation.
