Research On The Cultivation System Of Engineering Science And Technology Talents To Adapt To The New Industrialization Development

Taking a new road toward industrialization is not only China’s major strategicchoice to accelerate its process of modernization, but also an essential way for Chinato catch up with the developed countries. The new choice shows to the world thatChina will not take the traditional path of industrialization and that China’s economicand social development modes must be transformed as soon as possible. HigherEngineering Education, which closely associated with the industrializationdevelopment, must adapt to and promote the transformation. This requires HigherEngineering Education to make changes and achieve great leap. The cultivation ofengineering science and technology talents is one of the important tasks of higherengineering education against the background of new industrialization development.This thesis put the cultivation of engineering science and technology talents intothe big system of new industrialization development. Firstly, this thesis analyzes thespecification requirements of new industrialization development for engineeringscience and technology talents in knowledge, capability and quality aspects from thelongitudinal dimension. Then, the thesis proposes the knowledge specificationrequirements with complete scientific knowledge structure as core, the capabilityspecification requirements with outstanding engineering practical ability as core andthe quality specification requirements with strong sense of reform and innovation ascore. With specification requirements as the starting point and based on theschool-enterprise cooperation, the thesis comes up with the cultivation system ofengineering science and technology talents to adapt to the new industrializationdevelopment from the horizontal dimension. Finally, to ensure the effectiveness of the cultivation system, the thesis establishes a security system dominated by governmentpolicy from the cross dimension.
