Culture is the blood of the nation and a more basic,extensive and lasting source of strength for a country's development and progress.As a newcomer to the times who shoulders the important task of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,science and engineering graduate students should strive to improve the level of humanistic literacy and make themselves have solid professional knowledge.But also with profound cultural heritage of morality,wisdom,beauty and all-round development of socialist constructors and successors.In order to improve the humanistic literacy level of science and engineering graduate students,this study combs the importance of strengthening the cultivation of humanities literacy of science and engineering graduate students by using literature research method,questionnaire survey method and case study method.That is,the need of socialist construction with Chinese characteristics,the need to improve the talent training system in colleges and universities,and the need for the all-round development of science and engineering graduate students.Taking some science and engineering graduate students and related functional departments of Kunming University of Science and Technology as the object of investigation,this paper investigates the present situation of humanistic literacy cultivation and the present situation of humanities literacy of science and engineering graduate students in Kunming University of Science and Technology.Through the investigation,it is found that the graduate students of science and engineering in Kunming University of Technology The cultivation of literary literacy has achieved some results.The school level attaches more importance to the cultivation of humanistic literacy than ever before.There are various ways to cultivate humanistic literacy of science and engineering graduate students.Science and engineering graduate students have a good understanding of the importance of humanistic literacy cultivation.Atthe same time,there are some problems,such as the proportion of humanities curriculum is low,the curriculum system needs to be optimized,the humanistic atmosphere on campus is not strong,the teachers of science and engineering and professional courses do not pay enough attention to the cultivation of humanistic literacy,and the students' humanistic knowledge and spirit need to be improved.The reason is that the concept of humanistic literacy cultivation in schools needs to be further strengthened,the cultivation of humanistic literacy teachers is weak,the teaching mode is single and the participants of science and engineering graduate students are involved in the cultivation of humanistic literacy.The enthusiasm of literary literacy cultivation activities is not high.In view of this,this study puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to strengthen the cultivation of humanistic literacy of science and engineering graduate students.In order to improve the humanistic literacy level of science and engineering graduate students,it is necessary to improve the educational concept,curriculum content,curriculum system,teaching methods,the construction of teaching staff and the construction of campus humanistic environment.Only in this way can we really improve the humanistic literacy level of science and engineering graduate students,promote their all-round development,and make them new to the times with cultural accomplishment,noble personality,humanistic feelings and innovative spirit.
