To build a well-off society in an all-round way, we need qualified young talents. Ourcountry’s economic boom and social progress are closely related to vocational education.Vocational education has become a focus of the CPC central committee and the state council.All walks of life pay more attention to the development of vocational education. Vocationaleducation is facing the opportunities and challenges that are not met before. With the innovation,the demand for the multiple education in morality, aesthetics and psychology of vocationstudents is also more and more obvious. In order to meet the social demands for technicalpersonnel in the new age, vocational colleges need to regard cultivating qualified talents as theireducational aim. At the same time, vocational colleges should improve aesthetic andpsychological education to a certain degree.At the very beginning, the thesis summarizes the present situation on research for aestheticeducation at home and abroad. Then I choose Xuzhou Finance Branch, Jiangsu Union TechnicalInstitute, a representative vocational college, as a case study to the following research.According to the survey to present situation of music appreciation courses and educationalresults, I find out that music appreciation courses have many problems at present vocationalteaching. On the one hand, the learning time for it is short and the college lacks relevant faculty.On the other hand, vocation students are short of learning motivation and the teachingefficiency is low.Faced with the above problems, I analyze the causes carefully one by one. To start with,vocation students lack basic knowledge of music,which greatly affects the music teaching.Besides, public courses and professional skill courses can not keep a balance. Thirdly, the livingmodel of music teaching is not able to adapt to vocation students. At last, the college is short ofmusic practice area.Based on the above research together with my own teaching experience, I put up with some effective countermeasures for music appreciation courses in vocational education.Through the application of the countermeasures, I sincerely hope that vocation students cangain balanced development during several years of learning in vocational college. At the sametime, their comprehensive quality will be greatly improved. Besides, these countermeasures canprovide significant references to the development of music appreciation courses and themultiple education in morality, aesthetics and psychology of vocation students.
