Regional system of man-land relationship is the core of geography research. But with thecross between different disciplines, regional system of man-land relationship graduallybecome the demography, economics, environmental and other science research’s hot spot.Regional system of man-land relationship is a giant system consists of the geographicalenvironment and human activities, which is complex and open. In the complex and hugesystem, human occupies the dominant position in the evolution of system, but the social andeconomic activities of the human’s corresponding control the system’s evolution direction. For a long time, the population problem has been the primary problem of restricting theregional sustainable development. In recent years, a large scale and unreasonable structure ofthe population become the increasingly prominent issue. Therefore, reasonable optimizationand structure of the population, has important meaning to realize the sustainable developmentof regional system of man-land relationship. The paper selects the second big population province of China--Shandong Province asan example, analyzed the population structure change on the evolution of regional system ofman-land relationship. The population problem of Shandong Province is prominent, the largepopulation base, the aging of the population, low cultural level, unreasonable urban and ruralstructure, unreasonable industrial structure, these factors influenced the evolution of regionalsystem of man-land relationship. In order to optimize the guidance of population structure, theanalysis of population structure changes impact on the evolution of regional system ofman-land relationship is necessary,at the same time, puts forward some countermeasures andsuggestions of the sustainable development of regional man-land system implementation. Themain research contents of this paper are: 1.Describes the basic situation of Shandong Province, analyzed the basic characteristicsof the region, and the regional development from1949to2013, according to the developmentand utilization of resources in different ways, divide the region’s development into3stages:taking the development and utilization of agricultural resources as the main stage(1949~1978), taking the development and utilization of industrial resources stage(1979~2002) and taking the development and utilization of comprehensive environmentalstage (2003~2013), qualitative analysis of the evolution process of Shandong provinceregional system of man-land relationship. On the basis of qualitative analysis, the resourcesand environment system represents the geographical environment of social economic system, regional system of man-land relationship is divided as the representative of human activities, build the index system, quantitative analysis of Shandong province from2000to2013between man-land relationship regional system evolution is carried out by the method of greycorrelation. Through the calculated between elements and the elements, element and system, system and system of the incidence degree and coupling degree, screening out the drivingforce factors, which affect the evolution of regional system of man-land relationship. Thestudy concluded, the population problem is the main factor restricting the Shandong provinceregional system of man-land relationship’s development. The development status ofevaluation of Shandong province regional system of man-land relationship from the timeseries of the mountain.2.Selecting the particularly significant change of population structure such as populationage, culture, industry, urban and rural structure, qualitative and quantitative analysis of effectof3aspects of each of the different stages of regional system of man-land relationship ofeconomy, resources and environment, social. First, changes in the analysis of thecharacteristics from1982to2013of Shandong province’s population age, culture, industry, urban and rural structure. Secondly, from the quantitative and qualitative angle analysis atdifferent stages of development, the influence of population age structure, culture, industry, urban and rural respectively on the economy. Finally, analysis of the impact of population agestructure, culture, industry, urban and rural respectively on the resources environment andsociety from the perspective of qualitative.3.On the basis of empirical analysis, put forward the countermeasure and suggestion toimprove population structure and play a leading role in the coordination of populationpopulation structure to realize regional sustainable development.
