Abstract:Mathematics originates from the needs of life. Mathematics is also applied in life. Mathematical modeling is the circulation process which applied to real life by establishing mathematical model. This needs to exercise and validate in practical problems in life. It can increase students’ inquiry mathematics fun, cultivate the students’ practical operation and application ability, improve the mathematical literacy by permeating mathematical modeling in daily teaching. Mathematical modeling in mathematical learning is important in "Compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards (2011Edition)". Modeling thinking is important one of the ten core concept. In the primary school stage, mathematics modeling teaching has important significance to cultivate students’ consciousness of mathematics application.First of all, the domestic and international application research of modeling methods in mathematics education is reviewed in this paper based on the contents and methods of the research. Secondly, the three basic theory of this paper are briefly introduced:constructivist learning theory, instructional design theory and mathematics modeling theory. Then, the teaching design model of primary school based on the mathematics modeling thinking is constructed based on the three theories. It provides the teaching case to verify the validity of the teaching design model. Finally, the problems should pay attention to in the process are summarized based on the teaching process.The instructional design mode of primary school based on mathematics modeling thinking can not only guide students consciously use modeling methods to solve the problem, can also solve the practical dilemma of mathematical modeling activities and the tension of daily teaching.
