Reading good novels can bring positive energy in many aspects to the reader, can sublimate personality, but also can practice accomplishment, but also rich in emotional experience, it can be said that the positive effect is very obvious. Overseas readers through reading good novels get spiritual sustenance, the ongoing promotion of literacy. At present, in the background of new curriculum reform, pay attention to the regression of human nature is a kind of mainstream, increasing outstanding novel in high school textbooks of space has entered into the actual implementation of the link. From has been selected in the novel can be seen, these works are belong to fine, both Chinese and foreign famous classic works of fiction, also has a high degree of recognition of the modern novel. As can be seen from this level, high school curriculum reform pays much attention to the fusion of novels. As a high school language teaching and guides, high school language teacher also attaches great importance to the novel teaching.Novel teaching of high school is currently no mature mode, it can be said is still in groping stage, in the process of our Chinese language teachers need to update the concept, the new concept of integration to the practical teaching in the current curriculum reform, combined with the design of teaching reading habits and psychological health of students. In addition, in the process of teaching should pay attention to the problem of mining, that is to reflect on the novel teaching the existing problems, and the solution of the problem on this basis. Due to the novel teaching plays a very important role in the whole Chinese education, the initiation of this study enthusiasm of numerous experts and scholars, and the formation of the corresponding research results. In the face of a large number of research results, our high school Chinese teacher can not directly apply blindly, but should choose according to their own actual situation, and do in the implementation process of the novel teaching in accordance with the new curriculum concept, to meet the needs of students to achieve novel to enhance the quality of teaching, only in this way, the novel teaching aim was achieved. However, Yanji city where the author in the novel teaching in middle school is still more desalination. In this premise, research the present situation of the Chinese city of Yanji in a novel teaching in the teaching, will contribute to the overall improvement of teaching quality, enhance the students’ reading ability.This thesis take the Chinese city of Yanji in a novel teaching in the teaching as the research object, in the "ordinary high school language curriculum standard (experiment draft)", the students’ psychological development stage theory, effective teaching theory as the basic theory research, through literature research method, questionnaire survey method first on the status of the city of Yanji in a novel teaching the investigation and analysis, carding summed up the existing problems in the teaching of the novel:the teacher’s novel outdated teaching philosophy, teaching methods are rigid, dogmatic evaluation standard. And to explore the causes of the problems in three aspects:Teachers:the novel teaching process, teaching methods teachers novel rigid theory, lag; students:student interest is not high, the students face the entrance pressure on the novel learning, reading up; their:novel teaching is the university entrance exam baton the interference, the social factors influencing high school students’ reading psychology of novel. On this basis, in view of the above three aspects of problems, try to solve methods, teachers:the Chinese teachers should strive to improve their own novel teaching business level and teaching level, carry out rich and colorful novel teaching activities, language teachers should strive to reach a consensus on the science fiction teaching; students broaden horizons:reading novels, actively participate in teaching activities the novel, strengthening the classroom students learning self summary; other aspects:strengthening the cooperation in teaching, the teaching wisdom, teaching resources sharing, in strict accordance with the "ordinary high school language curriculum standard (Experiment)" teaching, change the teaching to the university entrance exam for the novel target oriented. The purpose of this study was to optimize novel educational environment, and continuously improve the quality of literature education.
