This article is through the research of the questionnaire for students and teachers at the same time, on the basis of predecessors’research on curriculum standards, combined with the education psychology theory as the foundation, mainly in order to understand the current high school students in applying the idea of classification to discuss the present situation and existing problems, and strengthen the students discuss some problems when applying classification to discuss ideas and teacher to discuss thought in mathematics teaching, the application of classification in the high school teaching discuss ideas existing problems put forward countermeasures.Discuss ideas is a logical way to solve the problem, is also a kind of mathematical thinking. This kind of thought in simplifying the research object, plays an important role in the development of thinking. Classification discussion is to solve a complex or with uncertainty problem, need to put the problem is divided into several possibilities at this moment, and then to the possibility of each give different answers, it is the classified discussion of ideas.This paper first introduces the mathematical thinking, what is the significance of mathematical thought and mathematical thinking, the introduction of mathematical thinking in mathematics thought is one of the-classification to discuss ideas. Introduce the importance of classification discuss to discuss ideas and thoughts. Classification discussion thought is a very important mathematical thought, discuss ideas not only apply to mathematics and problem solving in mathematics teaching in the significance is also very important. Therefore, this article illustrates in mathematics in high school in the second chapter four modules:function, sequence, the application of analytic geometry, probability classification discussion of teaching case and sample analysis. In this paper, the five high school teachers and students in Yanji questionnaire, analysis of the current students in problem solving when applying the idea of classification discussed present situation and teachers in the teaching the status quo of applying the idea of classification discussion, as well as from the questionnaire study of students and teachers in the problem of applying the idea of classification discussion. According to the questionnaire reflected the problem put forward the corresponding effective countermeasures.Classification discussion thought is a very important mathematical thought in high school math is everywhere in recent years, the college entrance examination proposition involving one of the hot spots.
