In this paper,we study on reciting in senior high school Chinese teaching. Reciting is a traditional Chinese teaching method, which is one of the most conventional and effective teaching methods in the diversity of the lots of teaching methods. However, according to my front-line years of teaching practice finding that the way in which teachers obey the traditional law of Chinese teaching seems to be enduring but unserviceable,the prospects of Chinese reading teaching tends to be worrisome.The Chinese language teaching class is becoming expected to earn the quick buck that the university entrance exam is the only teaching baton.Neither teachers nor students overlooked the importance of reciting including the degree of cognition,the degree of favor,the degree of proficiency of the reading method,or the number and quality of reciting those are pessimistic. As time goes by, students are losing their interest and confidence gradually let alone to cultivate students to feel the beauty of chant, Chinese teaching now faces to be inefficient.Therefore, in view of the above situation, we want to explore a new method about reciting teaching, resulting any of front-line teachers upon reciting teaching to pay close attention to recognize the Chinese teaching class. Above all, how to take the most advantage of reciting teaching to improve the efficiency of the Chinese language class is the most significant question.This paper has three parts namely the introduction, text and epilogue.The introduction part combined with the ordinary high school language new curriculum standard(experiment) to come up with the origin, the purpose,the significance and literature review of this research.The first chapter starts with the concept of reciting, on the basis of that we talk about the types and characteristics of the reciting as well as the theoretical foundation and the significance of reciting. The second chapter discusses about the problems of reciting in senior high school’s language teaching with analysis of its causes and solutions.Third chapter tells about the application cases and implementation process of the reciting methods in senior high school’s Chinese teaching activities,the aim is to combine with the specific activities to make the study have certain pertinence and maneuverability. The final conclusion part summarizes the relationship between the reciting and the high school language teaching activities.All in all, the purpose to choose the theme of reciting is expected to inspire each of Chinese language teachers those who teach students face to face is supposed to improve attaching importance to the traditional language teaching methods so that they could guide correctly the Chinese language class, meanwhile the teaching efficiency of Chinese language class is able to be promoted as well.This study not only conforms to the law of Chinese teaching but also inherits and carries forward the reciting of the traditional teaching method. It also accords with the trend of the new curriculum reform and we hope this study could make a difference on Chinese language teaching activities.
