With the vigorous development of the preschool education background, private preschool has entered a rapid development period. While the surge in the number of private preschool, the different quality of preschool teachers directly affects the development of education in private preschool. It is immediately to improve the basic quality of private preschool teachers and pay more attention to the post-service trainings of private preschool teachers.The study investigates the status quo of post-service trainings of private preschool teachers in Haikou by using literature research method, questionnaire survey method and interviews method, conducts targeted analysis of the current problems post-service trainings of private preschool teachers in Haikou and puts forward rational countermeasures and suggestions.The paper is divided into four chapters.Chapter one is the introduction. The chapter briefly introduces the research background and research significance, defines the relevant core concepts concerning the project, and summarizes and concludes the existing researches of post-service trainings of preschool teachers.Chapter two is the investigation of the status quo of in-service trainings of private preschool teachers in Haikou. The chapter collects information with questionnaire investigation method and interview method, and conducts discussions from the aspects of basic situations of the respondents, the status quo of post-service trainings and the existing problems. The current status of post-service trainings of private preschool teachers in Haikou shows that the main problems are mainly training funds shortage, the lack of training opportunities, unguaranteed training time, obvious contradictions between work and further study, ignorance of teachers’ training needs,poor training effectiveness and the intermingled training quality.Chapter three mainly analyzes the causes of the problems of post-service trainings of private preschool teachers in Haikou. Firstly, the government doesn’t conduct effective supervision on the post-service trainings of private preschool teachers; secondly, training institutions ignore the post-service trainings of private preschool teachers and the trainings lack of pertinence; thirdly, the in-service training mechanism of private preschool teachers in Haikou city is not perfect.Chapter four is about the countermeasures and suggestions of improving the quality of post-service trainings of private preschool teachers in Haikou. The government departments should strengthen the investment and regulation of post-service trainings of private preschool teachers; training institutions should attach importance to the actual training needs of private kindergarten teachers; the training channels should be broadened for private preschool teachers in Haikou; the evaluation mechanism of post-service trainings of private preschool teachers in Haikou should be improved.
