The Study On The Present College Students’ Values Education

The present college students’values orientation decides whole society’s value orientation, while college students live in the period when their values are formed and established. so it is extremely important to pay more attention to the establishment of values in this period. Win the youth, so win the future. Since college students are the representatives of youth, the education on their values plays an active and key role in the their upgrowing and talent-forming. Under the new situation, the better values education on the college students and improvement of the pertinence and timeliness of college students’ values education are the main issues in ideology and politics education, and also the key question discussed in this thesis.Guided by the Marxism theory, combined with Socialism core values system, and by the comprehensive ways of literature research, historic analysis and theory & practice combination, etc, this thesis makes the research on the college students’ value education. This thesis mainly systematically and detailedly defines values, college students values and college students values education, and the practical significance of present college students’ values education. The practical significance lies in necessary requirement of nurturing qualified talents, important path of improving ideology and politics education efficiency and urgent requirement of resisting decadent ideas. The thesis analyzes and studies the practical condition of present college students’ values education, comments college students’ values from their mainstream performance and negative phenomena, and points out the problems and reasons lying in the present college students’values education. The problems lie in the values education approaches are not so flexible, single in contents and outdated in means. The thesis probes the effective countermeasures and advice to improving present college students’ values. During the research of effective countermeasures in college students’ values education, the thesis finds out the concrete measures should begin with improving the recognition of college students’ values, enriching the contents of college students’ values, innovating education ways of college students’values, optimizing education environment of college students’ values, enhancing education arts of college students’ values, strengthening education practice of college students’ values, these six levels.
