Research Goal:The goal is to research how the Latin dance training affects primary girl students’ physical and mental health at different ages, and the same is to provide more outside activities for them, help the parents recognize the value of Latin dance and make a right culture sense for their children.Research Method:Select 70 female students in primary school and divide them into three experimental groups according to their ages: 8-9 years, 10-11 years and 12-13 years to carry out the14-week training courses with twice a weekend and each course lasts for 40 minutes.Accorded the rules of The National Student Physical Health Standards and Elementary Pupils Mental Health Standards, we select some evaluating indicators and through the test analysis of variance method we evaluated that the Latin dance training has effects on primary girl students’ physical and mental health.Research Results:1. After the 14-week Latin dance exercise, there is no significant difference between the height and weight index of three experimental groups’ girl students and that on the control group(p>0.05).2. After the 14-week Latin dance exercise, there is an obvious improvement between the index of primary girl students aged 8-9 during standing long jump(p<0.05),crooking before the seat body and reaction and that of the control group.However, the indexes of vital capacity increase unconspicuously. There is an obvious improvement between the index of primary girl students aged 10-11 during standing long jump, crooking before the seat body and reaction and that of the control group. While the indexes of vital capacity increase unconspicuously(p<0.05).There is an obvious improvement between the index of primary girl students aged 12-13 during standing long jump, crooking before the seat body, vital capacity and reaction and that of the control group(p<0.05).3. After the 14-week later,the experimental group girls aged 8-9,have an obvious improvement in the emotional disorder compared with the other girls from the control group(p<0.05).But they can not increase obviously in social adjustment disorder,behavior disorder and special disorder. There is an obvious improvement in mental factor between the primary girl students aged 10-11 and that of the control group(p>0.05).However, there is an obvious improvement in learning disabilities, emotional disorder,defects in character, moral defects, social adjustment disorder and bad habits of primary girl students aged 12-13 with that of the control group(p<0.05).Nevertheless,behavior disorder increase unconspicuously.Research Conclusions:The Latin dance training can make promotion in physical health and mental health of primary girl students who come from the training groups,especially it has prominent effect on senior class female students in primary school.One that Insists Latin dance training can help primary girl students to enhance their physical fitness especially in leg strength,flexibility, agility ect.One that insists Latin dance training can effectively reduce his psychological pressure in life. It also can eliminate anxiety and improve learning ability as well as the social skills for the primary girl students.
