The Activity Suggestions And Case Designs Of STSE Education In High School Chemical Teaching

STSE education is a kind of education activities in relying on actual society, science, technology and environment. It attaches great importance to the mutual relationship among science, technology, society and environment and each other application in production and life. To protect human survival environment in current society, promote sustainable development and bring up student’s participation, communication, cooperation, adaptation, decision-making and innovation capacity, STSE education is not only a hot spot of current international education reform, but also an important goal of our high school chemistry education reform. Therefore, the penetration of STSE in high school chemistry education has important theoretical and practical significance.Firstly, this paper analyze the development status of STSE education at home and abroad, then collect and analyze the STSE education content of compulsory module in high school chemistry, and on this basis the paper explore five ways to permeate STSE education in high school chemical teaching: classroom teaching, experiment teaching, scientific and technological activities, social practice and exercise class. In addition, this paper put forward the corresponding activity suggestions according to teaching objectives of compulsory module in high school chemistry, and gives four case designs:(1) Classroom teaching, the test and conversion of Fe2+ and Fe3+. (2) Microscale laboratory, the reaction of copper with dilute nitric acid. (3) Technology experimental activities, the test of fingerprint and iodine in salt. (4) Home experiment, homemade tofu. Finally, I hope that it can provide a reference value to more classroom teachers and academics by the experiences and suggestions.The facts show that the penetration of STSE education in high school chemistry education can greatly inspire the enthusiasm of student’s studying chemistry, help students gradually to learn to analyze and solve practical problems through the view of whole, seek to improve the students’ scientific literacy eventually.
