Chemistry is an important part of the natural sciences.Its main research content is the relationship between the composition,structure,and properties of matter,as well as the law of material transformation and its means of regulation.Today,in the development of cross-subjects(such as life sciences,environmental sciences,materials sciences,and energy sciences),chemistry is not only an important foundation for them,but also an important propulsion of scientific and technological progress and modern civilization.As an important component of science education,chemistry teaching in the new era of high school should start from the needs of students and social development,take the scientific exploration as a breakthrough,highlighting the advantages of the discipline itself.To stimulating students' initiative and innovation,and making it gains more comprehensive chemistry knowledge and skills.STSE is the English acronym for science,technology,society,and environment.STSE education focuses on the relevance of science,technology,society and the environment and the teaching design materials related to scientific development,technological progress,and changes in the social environment,is a way to implement quality education.STSE education emphasis on the development of student accomplishment,and improve students' interest in life and technology,develop students' ability to adapt to the future,and change the status of high scores and low energy in the past and cultivate students' values and sustainable development concepts.This is in keeping with the educational philosophy of raising the scientific literacy of students in the new high school chemistry curriculum,stimulating students' interest in chemistry learning,and cultivating students' exploration and cooperation consciousness.At the same time,there are many knowledge points related to STSE content in the high school chemistry.Therefore,infiltration of STSE education through instructional design in high school chemistry teaching is an effective way for middle school students to carry out STSE education.In this article,guided by educational and instructional design theories,in combinationwith the actual situation of local secondary education,STSE education related theories were studied.Through the analysis and research on the application of STSE education in the chemistry teaching of middle school students,the content of the STSE education in the high school chemistry textbook(PEP)was sorted out,and analyzing the status of STSE test sites in the college entrance examination chemistry test.Focused on the feasibility and importance of infiltrating STSE in aspects of high school chemistry teaching,and listed examples of application of STSE education in all aspects.In the end,based on the actual teaching,the representative content of the textbook was selected from the perspective of STSE,and two thematic instructional designs were designed.Based on the concept of STSE education,the teaching of high school chemistry not only conforms to the trend of China's education reform,but also meets the needs of contemporary students in conforming with the needs of social development.Students can master the knowledge they have learned,and by this way,can make students understand the reality of life and pay attention to the living environment,establish a sense of responsibility and innovation is of great significance to the cultivation of students' core qualities and core values.
