With the rapid development of the global economy and science and technology,facing the transformation of major contradictions in the new era,Some new requirements has been put forward for the cultivation of all national qualities and talents in China.The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to accelerate the reform of the ecological civilization system and build a beautiful China.It also explicitly required the full implementation of the party's educational policy,the implementation of the fundamental tasks of the Lide Shuren,the development of quality-oriented education,and the cultivation of innovative talents with all-round development of morality,intelligence,and beauty.In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 19 th National Congress,the standard of high school chemistry curriculum published in 2017 clearly indicates the importance of chemistry to social and economic development,modern science and technology and the energy environment.Focusing on the core literacy of the development of chemistry disciplines,we attach importance to the "literacy-based" teaching and focus on improving the ideological,scientific,contemporary,systematic and guiding chemistry curriculum.The education of STSE focuses on combining students' experience and social reality to create problem situations,guiding students to pay attention to social issues related to chemistry,cultivating innovative practice ability through various inquiry activities,and enhancing social responsibility and decision-making ability.Therefore,with the new curriculum standard as a guide,by virtue of STSE education could effectively design teaching mode.The close integration of chemistry knowledge with social reality can stimulate students' interest in learning,promote students' courage to explore and actively cooperate,and realize the formation of students' core literacy.It is a hot spot in the current middle school chemistry teaching reform.Based on the investigation of the status quo of STSE teaching in high school chemistry,the distribution of chemistry textbooks and the content of STSE content in college entrance examination chemistry,the STSE teaching design strategy was proposed in this study to improve the quality of chemistry teaching.The paper is divided into five parts:The status quo of STSE education research at home and abroad was sort out at the first part.The theoretical basis of this study was determined by defining STSE education and instructional design.The SPSS software was employed to analyze the current situation of STSE teaching from the aspects of STSE education penetration,students' attention to STSE and students' attitude towards chemistry learning,and clarifies the problems of STSE teaching in high school chemistry at the second part.The content of STSE education was evaluate in the current high school chemistry textbooks in China,the proportion and scene classification of STSE in the chemistry exams of 2014-2018 was analyzed,the teaching design strategy of STSE in high school chemistry was explored respectively at the third part in order to design a novel teaching case.On the basic of the high school chemical STSE teaching design,the teaching practice and summarizing the practical effects was carried out at the fourth part.After the research on the theory and practice of STSE instructional design in high school chemistry,the conclusions are drawn as the following:(1)STSE education concept is the mainstream direction of current chemistry classroom teaching reform;(2)The well-designed chemistry teaching with STSE education concept is more open(3)The designed chemistry teaching of STSE education concept can promote the overall development of students' personality and ability;(4)The designed chemistry teaching of STSE education concept can improve the quality of chemistry teaching.
