STSE education is the abbreviation of science,technology,society and environment education,which core is to cultivate and develop students' ability to solve practical problems,which is the new trend of education reform.Chemistry is closely related to the harmonious development of society,technology and environment.The infiltration of STSE education in teaching has unique educational value,which also reflects the transformation of secondary education in China from the era of "knowledge standard" to the era of "core accomplishment".With the change of teachers' educational idea and teaching method,activity teaching emerges at the historic moment.The activity teaching takes the student as the main body,is devoted to the construction has the education,the creativity,the practice,the interest teaching activity,encourages the student to participate,the ponder,the inquiry,the practice,then promotes the teaching design the consummation and the teaching effect enhancement.The current situation of chemistry activity teaching in a middle school in Sichuan is investigated in this paper based on the literature research.The survey results show that there are some problems in the current activity teaching,such as xabnormal use,single activity form,low enthusiasm of students and unoptimistic teaching effect.In order toimprove the existing problems,the author proposes to take the concept of STSE education as the guiding ideology of activity teaching and choose STSE content as the teaching material,so as to make the progress of chemical activity teaching to be more evidence,more purpose and more effective.Based on the arrangement of STSE contents in each chapter of the textbook,the teaching of chemical activities is divided into three types:experiential,inquiring and problem-solving,and the model construction of different types of activity teaching is carried out.This paper expounds on the parts of each model and design intent,and put forward that the subjective principle,the dominant principle,the situational principle,the openness principle and the diversification principle should be followed in the design of the activity teaching,in the hope of better fusion STSE concepts,the implementation of quality education.Based on the model,the content of teaching materials suitable for various types is statistically sorted out by taking the first compulsory course of high school chemistry in PEP edition as an example,and the teaching design is carried out and put into teaching practice.Two homogeneous classes were selected from a high school in Sichuan province for a semester of experimental research,and the effects of the experiment were quantitatively evaluated by comparing the changes of students' interest in chemistry learning and their grades in the practicalprocess,and students' interviews were designed for qualitative evaluation of the experimental results.The results show that the activity teaching mode from the perspective of STSE education can effectively improve students' learning interest and achievement,and there is a significant difference in the extent of improvement of students' academic performance at different levels.In addition,it can also promote the development of students' abilities and literacy in various aspects.
