The Value Of Moral Education Of Mao Zedong Thought In The Contemporary University’s Moral Education

Mao Zedong is a great politician, a theorist and a proletarian revolutionist. Mao Zedong, with his outstanding talent, led Chinese people to build a new society through education to achieve ideological remoulding. The ideological remoulding and the transformation of the world of moral education is the most important content of Mao Zedong thought. The moral education of Mao Zedong Thought developed many talents for the victory of Chinese revolution and the development of the construction cause. The study and reference of the moral education of Mao Zedong Thought can promote the construction and development of our country’s moral education in Colleges, and it has great reference value to cultivate and bring up comprehensive talents in modern society.With the rapid development of China, people’s ideas and thoughts are gradually developing into diversification and different direction. Contemporary college students’ ideological and moral values have some positive changes. Meanwhile there are also varying degrees of bias, reflecting some aspect of present moral education in China’s colleges and universities are not good enough. During the age of quality education, colleges and universities must adhere to the idea of people-oriented philosophy. And treat students’ ideological and moral problems with the correct view of science to promot the all-round development of the students. This paper discussed the main contents of moral education in Mao Zedong Thought, and its value to the current university moral education construction and development, aiming to improve the current situation of moral education and to realize the morality education in the current days. The details are as follows.First of all, we studied the historical origin and the main contents of moral education of Mao Zedong’s thought, which focused on the exploration of its main contents.Secondly, we studied current situation and challenges of Chinese college students’ moral to reveal the existing problems in contemporary China’s moral education.Finally, and most importantly, we will overview the specific value and the application of moral education of Mao Zedong Thought to the contemporary university’s moral education by the rational use of principles.In a word, this work tried from the rational height to explore the application value of moral education of Mao Zedong Thought to the contemporary university moral education. It can enrich the current moral education system, promote the construction and development of university’s moral education, and improve the effectiveness of moral education.
