Since twentieth Century, with the rapid development of economy and culture, in the development process of the state education has become a crucial factor, which directly affects the national ideology and culture, even in a large extent, have a huge impact on the future development trend of national.Which must be mentioned on the basic education in minority areas, it is not only related to the national unity of our country, is also closely linked with long-term stability in the country. But because the education thought of culture unique ethnic regions, the development and planning of national education is always a difficulty of education in our country. The present physics teaching in minority nationality areas, education tend to teach type teaching method of the traditional use of the Han areas, and the physics textbooks for teaching, which affected the process of physics teaching to a great extent, even many students in ethnic minority areas of physics learning have tired of learning attitude.The study of PBL teaching mode in a popular in the field of teaching mode into the physics teaching in the ethnic area, so as to promote students’ enthusiasm for learning physics. PBL teaching mode is a concentrated reflection of constructivism teaching mode, it originated in foreign countries, the main research on computer education, higher medical education, to enhance the students’ interest in learning, training students’ practical ability, problem solving ability and exercise expand cooperative learning ability as the main starting point. In this paper, through the analysis of national area in physics teaching difficulties and the national culture of the physical elements, combined with the basic elements of PBL teaching mode, practice teaching in ethnic minority regions, obtains the PBL teaching mode in the advantages and disadvantages of the implementation of the national minority area, and then modified, and finally find a suitable implementation of the feature of PBL in ethnic minority areas teaching mode.Research on a national high school in Qinghai Prefecture of Hainan Province as case studies, and by physical national student learning is the main research point. In the study, combined with the characteristics of ethnic minority areas of culture, put forward with national cultural characteristics of the PBL teaching mode, and practice teaching to students, through the research of 3D target analysis results, the PBL teaching mode for students’ learning achievement, learning interest, practical ability, classroom enthusiasm etc.. The implementation results show that, the PBL teaching mode has a positive role in cultivating students’ practical ability, problem solving ability, cooperative learning ability, innovation ability and autonomous learning ability, but also for the national middle school students in minority nationality regions of interest in physics learning had a positive impact, especially for ethnic minority areas are significantly improved quality of middle school physics experiment teaching.
