In present day, society is becoming more and more digital and informational, information literacy has become the basic quality that citizens should posses and the level of information literacy becomes an important standard which evaluates the national quality. Teachers of secondary vocational school undertake the task of cultivating our next generation, therefore developing the secondary vocational teacher’s information literacy is particularly important.Because of those, how to improve the secondary vocational teachers’information literacy is the top issue of this essay. This essay has been divided into six chapters:The overall train of thought is a theoretical analysis, definition, status evaluation, system optimization, construction strategy, the first chapter is the introduction, this part expounds the research background and current situation of teachers’ information literacy both domestic and overseas and describes which research method is going to be used; In the second chapter, the key connotation and theoretical basis of teachers’ information literacy has been discussed. Information theory, system theory, cybernetics, theory of the digital divide and digital survive are the basis and the source of the information literacy, and meanwhile they are the prerequisite for researching on information literacy. The theory of teachers’ professionalization expounds the necessity of the teachers’ information literacy: in the third chapter, the evaluation criterion of the secondary vocational teachers’ information literacy has been studied,which benchmarked the present situation of the secondary vocational teachers’ information literacy; And on the basis of this evaluation standard to making the questionnaire, and The questionnaire involving information consciousness, information knowledge, information ability and information morality from four aspects, the investigation and influencing factors analysis of the present situation of secondary vocational teachers’ information literacy has been presented; the next chapter is the highlight of this essay,it has given the improvement methods and promoting path to the insufficient of secondary vocational teachers’ information literacy.
