With the advancement of the reform on teachers’ education andteachers professionalization, there are higher requirements for thenormal students’ cultivation in China. The implementation anddevelopment of Replacement and Teaching Practice not onlyimproves students’ practical ability, but also the quality of primaryeducation in rural areas. Although the Replacement and TeachingPractice is growing vigorously and a lot of social benefits have beenachieved since its execution, there are some problems emerging. Oneof the most important problem is the guidance of practice for thepractice students. Taking Shanxi normal university as an example,this thesis aims to know about the implementation of the"double-tutor system" on the Replacement and Teaching Practice ofthe graduating students in2014by meas of interview andquestionnaire.The research has shown that there exist some problems asfollowing in the "double-tutor system" on the Replacement andTeaching Practice of Normal University Students. For example, the implementation of double tutors has not reached the designatedposition; the supervising quality of double tutors is not so good; therelacks effective communication between tutors; the system of collegetutors selection is not reasonable; and there is a lack of the matchingsupporting system for the conducting teacher in the primary schools.The causes of these problems are: the lack of the government’sguidance; insufficient operating system in normal universities; notenough attention in the primary schools; inadequate initiative of theintern students. In order to improve the present situation somestrategies should be adopted. For the government, the support ofpolicy is the guarantee and the financial investment is the key; for thenormal universities, the "double-tutor system" should be put in thewhole teaching system for thinking and operating, and the threestages before practice, in practice, and after practice should begrasped well; for the primary schools, they should be responsible forthe training of normal students, the selecting of the tutors in primaryschools, moreover, exchanges and cooperation with normaluniversities should be strengthened; for the students, they should beactive to reflect on teaching, organize studying in groups to help eachother and make progress together. Therefore, the conducting workingmechanism with the uniting of government, normal universities,primary schools and the intern students should be formed so as tofinish the guiding of the double tutors for normal university students.
