Zhainai Community:Cultural Inherit Organization And Community Of The Older Women

The Buddhist organization "Zhainai Community" is an independent faith-based organization, but also an integral part of the bcal culture, which is demonstrated by one or more aspects of bcal culture, in other words, Buddhist organization would be a symbol of bcal culture. Someone said:"To understand what the culture is, you should bok at what the practitioners are doing." The member of the Buddhist Organization of older women should to do many things in ordinary life since they join in the Buddhist Organization, such as food taboos, burn incense and chanting. While family as the basic unit of the Buddhist Organization, geographical bcation as a division of the household is as same as the division of the faith in bcal god among the Buddhist Organizations. The organization not only belief in bcal god, but also have the faith in other deities, they take the bcal god as villagers’parents, and hope to pray for more blessing from other deities. This paper argument four sense about the Buddhist Organization with anthropobgy theory on organization, gender and religious belief, first,as a national folk religious organization, what is the Buddhist Organization’s role in cultural heritage in the process of social cultural change is discussed; Second, study the faith-based organizations will help to understand the significance of faith community; third, study such a gender organization could rejoin the gender study; Last, the analyze on age group organization is help to understand the elderly spiritual need. The first chapter combines other study to expbre the formation and devebpment of the Buddhist Organizations and the heritage of bcal culture; the second chapter mainly describes some representative ritual activities, through these activities to understand the member’s spirit of life; The third chapter through bcal gender divide discussing to analyze the division of labor between different gender group; Finally, through the member’s religion life of the individual case to study the relationship between living space and religion space and the spiritual pursuit as elderly community.
