Teachers’ pre-service education is an important part of teacher education, itplays an important role in the process of teachers training. Finnish teachers’pre-service education laid a good foundation for its high quality teachers training.The thesis focuses on the Finnish teachers’ pre-service education, Finland adheres tothe cultivating objective of the research-typed teachers and formulates a strictentrance threshold. Learning and drawing lessons from the successful experience ofthe Finnish teachers’ pre-service education, in order to provide advice and referencefor normal education reform in our country.The thesis mainly includes four parts. The first part briefly describes the originand development of teacher education in Finland, it based on the1970’s can bedivided into two stages of initial development and the rapid development. Thesecond part analyzes the current Finnish teachers’ pre-service education in detail,mainly discusses from four aspects: cultivating objective, enrollment system,curriculum setting and teaching practice. The third part is to evaluate and analysisFinnish teachers’ pre-service education, to summarize its characteristics and discussits future development direction. Finally in view of the problem of normal educationin our country, based on the Finnish experience and characteristics, putting forwardsome suggestions and enlightenments.
