People’s Education Press and Sinomap Press are used in Jiangxi province as a pilot. The author access to the survey in the middle school of Jiangxi province, understanding the teachers’ views about two books in the course of teaching, and combined with the serious study and learn about the Geography Curriculum Standard(shortened as GCS below). Cons idering the time, the limited energy and the author’s limited capacity, I have just chosen the People’s Education Press and the Sinomap Press make comparative study. After contrastive analysis about the macro frame structure, the micro specific knowledge and the presentation of knowledge, find out the writing characteristics, their respective advantages and disadvantages, bring up the optimization of integrated strategy. Hope to offer some advices for the revision of the textbook, and provide a reference to choice and use.Again through massive reading related fundamental researches found that four textbook’s content are in strict accordance with the curriculum content standards for writing, and different versions of textbooks have their respective character istics, reflects the basic idea of the geography curriculum, realize the diversification of the textbook. Make the textbook become the resources of creative teaching of the teachers and active learning of students.Comparison study found, the People’s Education Press and the Sinomap Press for the specific content’s emphasis of the GCS are different. The use of images was differences too. It present the characters about two textbooks under the GCS. For users of textbooks, it is significant to integration of different versions of textbooks in the course of teaching. By the contrast analysis, author thought that macroscopic framework version of the People’s Education Press is more reasonable, more in line with the students’ learning psychology and learning rule, and the Sinomap Press is more lively and interesting than the People ’s Education Press about the column classification to both the teaching of teachers and the learning of students, and can attract more students to learn. In addition, the use of language, the Sinomap Press is more accord with the middle school students’ learning psychology, and more advantageous to the students learn geographical kno wledge.
