Learning complex theories of the blast furnace smelting process is essential for training talents of smelting. Aiming at the shortcomings of traditional blast furnace has been in the process of teaching, such as the training cycle is too long; students hands-on less, lack of autonomous learning; teachers only pay attention to the overall simulation experiment, the lack of teaching design. Based on the summary of the outstanding expert system, the thesis design and develop the simulation teaching system for blast furnace smelting of autonomous learning. The whole process of blast furnace smelting simulation intuitively and accurately expresses influences of main parameters bring to the blast furnace smelting, shows good interactivity and immersion, and serves the teaching well.The research work includes the following aspects: firstly, general mechanism modeling and model checking. Theoretical models related with Top distribution and the combustion in blast furnace have been mainly analysised. The model of Top distribution combined with no bell equipment structure, segmented burden trajectory equation is established, and the calculated values and measured values coincide well. The combustion in blast furnace including the mechanism modeling and model test of pneumatic drum with raceway, burning velocity and iron slag processing.Next in importance, proposing the teaching design for autonomous learning. Starting as the students’ autonomous learning, focusing on the situation of lack of interactivity and action of blast furnace simulation accuracy, the system simulate interactive components and their action process, such as the chute of Bellless furnace top, tuyere, sounding rod. At the same time, instruct students to learn and adjust the parameters of blast furnace control, and make the students have a direct understanding of the complicated blast furnace smelting process. Fully arousing the enthusiasm of students autonomous learning, shortening the development period of training, reducing the training costs.Finally, based on the presented model and design which the thesis proposes, using SQL SERVER 2008 as the database, with the aid of virtual simulation technology such as Swing and Java3 D, The system completes visual simulation of each function module of blast furnace smelting on the Eclipse development platform.
