Today, the role of art appreciation in quality education is self-evident, in art education as a very important role. However, in the new curriculum reform steadily trend, gives the teacher more independent choice of space, especially in the choice of curriculum resources, teacher’s teaching material can not just limited to the teaching materials, attention should also be paid to wealth in addition to the teaching material of choice. Cartoon after 100 years of development and innovation, now has become a a rich and colorful art, to bring the children happy and rich visual experience, is more important is the excellent animation works should be both moral and aesthetic double educational functions. For the development of beauty appreciation teaching, it has a very high artistic value and potential, and provides a new teaching and learning resources..So, animation works whether in the elementary school fine arts appreciation lesson bear this responsibility. In this paper, the on the basis of long-term research and teaching practice, cartoons as elementary school art appreciation class of potential curriculum resources, analysis how to become the teaching content and applied to appreciate the teaching. In the first chapter, the author expounds the connotation of animation, analyzes its types and features, and clearly art essence of animation.. After in Chapter 2, we study the application of animation works to elementary school the fine arts appreciation teaching present situation and improvement measures, in the third chapter, the author studied how to animation as a primary school art appreciation curriculum resources applied to teaching practice, and according to the practice of multiple and inquiry are related to teaching design and evaluation, in order to form a practical model for the development of the curriculum resources. On this basis, in the fourth chapter, the animation works in the primary school art appreciation teaching value and the impact of the full elaboration.
