Ancient poetry has a long history, during this process, it accumulated a rich cultural heritage and has become a precious heritage of china. Learning ancient poetry in the middle school will help us inherit and carry forward the outstanding cultural traditions, and promote the development of china’s cultures. However, compared with the New Curriculum requirements, the situation of ancient poetry teaching is not optimistic, there are some errors in specific teaching. Besides, the research of ancient poetry teaching is not enough, so it is worth further studying."Sound" and "Color" showing the beauty of ancient poetry and the research of "sound" and "color" can help improve students’ interest in learning ancient poetry, and promote the teaching of ancient poetry. But referring to the relevant literature, I did not find specialized research about "sound" and "color" and the research of "sound", "color" problem and middle school’s ancient poetry teaching is very rare. Therefore, this article lays more emphasis on the connection of ancient poetry’s "sound", "color" and of middle school’s ancient poetry teaching. It can help middle school teachers pay attention the issue of ancient poetry’s "sound" and "color", it also provides an effective way for ancient poetry teaching in middle school in the future.This article will be divided into three chapters :The exordium part, mainly on showing the origin and theoretical basis of ancient poetry’s "sound" and "color".The first chapter discusses the current situation and recent advancement and importance of ancient poetry’s "sound" and "color". People pay more and more attention to the study of ancient poetry teaching, but specialized research about ancient poetry’s "sound" and "color" is very rare, which is significant for middle school students, specifically representing in the following three aspects: First, fostering students aesthetic qualities, improving students aesthetic ability; Secondly, blending different disciplines, promoting the overall development of students; Thirdly, improving student interest in ancient poetry, inheriting Chinese traditional culture.The second chapter discusses the performance of ancient poetry’s "sound" "color". Ancient poetry is an art form possessing musical beauty and painting beauty, specifically, ancient poetry has great consistency with painting in the overall composition, color, line handling and light and color’s fusion; on the other hand, the ancient poetry has unique metre and rhythm, touching readers’ s heart like music works.The third chapter specifically discuss on how to teach using "sound" and "color", this article describes six effective methods: tasting and chanting, felling ancient poetry rhyme’s beauty; savouring poetry and drawing, reproducing ancient; imaging, understanding ancient poetry’s artistic conception beauty; arranging ancient poetry and singing ancient poetry; using multimedia, intuitively appreciating poetry’s painting beauty; learning ancient poetry phonological rules, creating ancient poetry.
