In 2009 December, Suggestions by the State Council on Promoting the Construction and Development of Hainan International Tourism Island(hereinafter referred to as the Suggestions) was formally issued, which marks the construction of Hainan international tourism island rise to the national strategic. Music education as one of the important link(sections) of the social civilization development of Hainan Province,should be vigorously promoted and developed. While the main factors affecting the music education development of Hainan province is the music education in impoverished region of Hainan province. Therefore, This paper is based on the investigation and analysis of the music education in impoverished region of Hainan Province, has great theoretical significance and practical value.Pass the field investigation,interview,experience and questionnaire and other methods, the status of the impoverished areas of Hainan province of music education in middle schools were surveyed, and then according to the survey results to analyze the main factors restricting the development of high school music education in impoverished areas in Hainan Province, and with in –depth analysis to propose feasible strategy for the music education of this region.And might provide a reference for middle and primary schools educators in Hainan Province, to improve the quality of teaching in impoverished areas of Hainan middle school music education.
