After the implementation of the new curriculum reform, the research angle of education has been changed from the original "teaching centered" to "learning centered". The core principle of new curriculum is based on students’ development. Teachers must respect students, optimize the teaching environment, stimulate the students’ interest in learning to enable students to actively participate in, give hope and encouragement to the students, so that students can gain a sense of achievement. All of those require that teachers must change their teaching concepts and turn to cultivate students’ ability to learn, let students know how to learn and learn well. The general objective of New Chinese Curriculum is "... to form the self-confidence and good habits of Chinese learning, to master the basic Chinese learning method." And taking notes is an important way of leaning in the Chinese classroom teaching. The junior high school is a critical period of acquiring Chinese learning habits and abilities. To some extent, let students acquire the habit of taking notes in the class can accommodate the requirements of quality-oriented education, and effectively develop their comprehensive Chinese language competence. And it also helps students to concentrate on teachers; to develop students’ practical abilities; to foster students’ subject consciousness and personality of thinking, and improves students’ learning efficiency in class; to exercise the ability to inquiry-based learning, such as autonomous learning, explore the issues and think independently; to accumulate useful materials, then establish the contact between the new knowledge and the old knowledge to help students set up it’ s framework; to enhance student’s flair and mental agility, enhance the ability to analyze and solve problems. It’s not only beneficial to improve the students’ language learning ability, but also conducive to the students’ lifelong learning. Therefore, it’s the duty of every Chinese teacher to train students to acquire the habit of taking notes in the class. However, there are many problems when junior high school students take notes in the class. For example, they don’t know when to take notes and how to take notes efficiently, even what should be written down. The contents of their notes are chief, only focused on the blackboard writing and the key points and difficulties teachers has emphasized, but less the generative knowledge. They mainly punctuate, underline and write side groups to emphasize the key points. Moreover, the notes are not play a crucial role, they just be used as storages. Accordingly, the author hopes that through the research we can point out the specific and feasible strategies to guide students to take notes efficiently, and improve their Chinese language learning abilities. This paper is based on the constructivism theory, for the purpose of cultivating the autonomous learning style, and let students acquire the habit of taking notes in the class as well as other good leaning habits according to the new curriculum requirements.
