The Research Of Jingxun Academy

Under the influence of energetically encouragement to the practice of simple and plain learning, Jingxun Academy established by Provincial judge of Jiangxi Liutichong in the middle and later period of Qing dynasty, which was a special academy for poem and ode in capital Nanchang. It was one of the most prestigious four academies at that time, others were Yuzhang Academy, Donghu Academy and Youjiao Academy.Founded in 1840, Jingxun Academy reformed into a industrial school after 70 years.During these 70 years, it keeps up with the pace of Jiangxi and even national education evolution and reformation and makes its own contributions to the development of Jiangyou academy as well as the modernize of Chinese society.Since there are no systematic study upon documents and literature of Jingxun Academy so far, this paper aiming to conclude a systematic and comprehensive research from the perspective of its establishment,construction,the vicissitude of organization,curriculum provision and its academic characteristics.
