Since the Qing government established the Wucheng schools in Beijing in 1901, ordinary schools in China have taken the course of the first hundred years. Looking back over the past century, in the vicissitude of the politics, economy and culture, education was experienced the hard way from young to mature, from traditional to modern, and also schools were survive and develop among the surging ,alarming and dispute. Thus the secondary education, no matter survival or not, or its state of existence, are not a continuous and stable history which accompanied the iterative process of negative and reconstruction. However, just because of yesterday's subversion and prosperity, schools can have today's state, and schools future will be a continuation of yesterday and today. Therefore, for the needs of its own development, and also for the outside review needs, we will lengthen the perspective of secondary education, carding the accumulation of hundreds of years of cultural traditions for secondary education through the research of the vicissitude process of history, orientating the reality of secondary education more scientific and more accurate through the systematic reflection of the past experiences and indoctrinations in order to find a more long-term development of the future.In this paper we choose a secondary school with century history as the main research object, systematic combing its development experience in order to reveal the relationship between schools and society, education and politics, from this we can review the change experiences and development characteristics of China's secondary education. We focus on three areas to began analyze. The first area is exploration and practice of school orientation, concerning about the school's training objectives and the positioning of the state of their own survival in the needs of social, political and public. The second area is intercalation and vicissitude of school's internal management system, sorting out the political, administrative and professional community at different periods in the relationship between the school management through the discussion to different stages of the organizational structure of schools, principals, teacher's professional identity and professional autonomy. The third area is the implementation and evolution of school's curriculum and teaching so we can clear the changing process of curriculum setting and teaching methods in secondary school. Through the historical experience of a school's century vicissitude, we can draw the following inspiration: Education, as an important national political and security factors, at different times, different social environment, it has both positive and negative roles. In a contemporary society which education and knowledge as the country's main development factor, the school can only take into account the needs of society and human development, based on the care of individual lives, that we can cultivate the qualified citizens of modern society. At the same time, in such era that the world integration process is accelerating, schools must be make a screen and choice to foreign culture and then integrate with the national traditions that local courses can be developed by leaps and bounds.
