With the development of the Internet, the development of smart phones, tablet PCs and other terminals as the representative of the new power of the media to grow, more and more widespread use of new media. The rapid development of new media technologies, new media as the main users, how they use new media? What are the challenges and implications on students use the new media on the classroom? To solve these problems, this paper presents the existing research on the basis of new media research ideas and framework of this paper to study the basic situation of college students use new media, as well as the impact of new media on the university classroom to generate both positive and negative aspects. I learn from the relevant academic research and field research on the basis of their own, And in-depth analysis of the negative impact of new media on the classroom teaching college students, and propose countermeasures.This paper uses literature, searching a large number of domestic and foreign literature and information on new media technologies and the use of research, Collation theoretical content of the new media, contrast and filter the data collected, thus summarized the current Research. Questionnaire was used mainly for H Normal 300 students conducted a questionnaire survey and analysis of relevant statistical data.On the basis of the relevant scholars draw on existing research results, I believe that the impact of new media on the classroom produced mainly two aspects, one is a positive impact, mainly:(1) a high degree of acceptance of new media;(2) to enhance the classroom teaching;(3) help improve their ability to learn; on the other hand the new media classroom also has a negative impact, as follows:(1) classroom phone utility rate;(2) the use of new media focused classroom entertainment;(3) a direct impact on academic performance;(4) increased inertia of thinking. Through the above analysis found that the negative impact of the main reasons:(1) lack of normative construction of new media;(2) the management of colleges and universities in the new media inadequate, in particular in: understanding deviation; teaching the concept of change difficult; lack of media literacy education; inadequate teacher training.(3) Students’ self-management deficiencies, Specific performance: the concept of openness; behavioral autonomy; identity anonymous; thinking dependence. Students Educational Strategies proper use of new media as follows:(1) strengthen the college students of new media literacy education;(2) to strengthen the supervision of the new media of the university;(3) changes in the traditional classroom teaching.
