With the rapid development of our social economy,outstanding skilled talents become the chase of favorite from all kinds of professional and jobs.The demand for outstanding skilled talents of the hotel industry has become increasingly urgent.However,there has gap between the level of higher vocational hotel management Professional course teaching quality and the actual needs of the development of hotel industry.Curriculum teaching is an important means of higher vocational education,and it is also an important part in determining the quality of personnel training.Strengthen the higher vocational hotel management professional public relations curriculum teaching research is beneficial to improve the ability quality of specialty skilled talents,and meet the actual needs for outstanding skilled talents with the development of the hotel industry.Starting from the present situation of the public relations course of the hotel management from the higher vocational college,this article investigates the teachers,students,and the teaching management staff of the public relations course from higher vocational hotel management professional by using literature method,questionnaire method and interview method. On the basis of the survey data,it makes further understand of the present situation of public relations course from higher vocational hotel management professional. And then make further research of the hotel public relations course’s main problems,in order to optimize the research of the public relations course’s teaching from higher vocational hotel management professional.The article is divided into five parts.The first part is introduction,which introduces the research background,research significance,research review,research framework, research methods and research innovation; The second part describes the theoretical basis,firstly,defines the relevant concepts,secondly,introduces the characteristics and functions of higher vocational hotel public relations course,finally,elaborates the theoretical foundations of curriculum reform of higher vocational hotel public relations; The third part is analysis of the status quo for vocational hotel public relations course teaching,through the questionnaire and the interview survey of selected samples and samples of the relevant personnel from higher vocational colleges hotel,finds out the major problems in higher vocational hotel public relations course teaching,and analyzes its produce reason; The fourth part is based on professional ability training of the hotel public relations curriculum’s design,firstly,elaborates the concept of the hotel public relations course teaching design’s concept and principles,secondly,puts forward the teaching design of the professional ability training,finally,elaborates the guarantee of the teaching; The fourth part is the most important part of this research; The fifth part expounds the research conclusion,disadvantages and the future prospects.
