With the rapid economic development of Gansu Province, the strategic adjustment of economic structure, the technical requirements of the producer during the process of production significantly increase.Besides,the acceptance of foreign advanced technology and experience in the internal and external province continues to accelerate the pace of the overall labor force as well as increasing demands of the technical elements, resulting in the larger demand for the applied people in our provincial job market.Economic and social development require Gansu Province Higher education to cultivate a wide range of expertise, namely training applied people. To cultivate applied people, technical colleges must apply on the basis of the professional setting, the strengthening curriculum and professional standards,in order to meet the needs of the enterprises and markets for the university-trained people.Therefore, with the development of Gansu Local Colleges as the theme,this paper focus on the interactive relationship between the development of local colleges and local economic.Basing on the rational connection between the curriculum and professional standards, this paper selects Applied Technology College of Gansu Province as the research object,by means of questionnaire of school enterprise cooperation,teacher,Gansu province undergraduate institutions in transition, and interview the transformation of part of the leaderships and teachers,analyse the questions between the cucciculum and the professional standards,in order to make reasonable comments and suggestions.This paper is divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction, which includes the research origin, background, significance, the literature review and definition of the core concepts. The second part is the status of Applied Technology College Curriculum docking with occupation standard. The third part is the analysis of the existing problems and the analysis of curriculum in the process of docking between technology-based colleges and vocational curriculum standard. The fourth part is the analysis of the path on the docking. The fifth part is the protective measures for docking.
