A Study About Volunteerism Nurturing Of College Students

In recent years, with economic development and social progress of our country, the development of voluntary service activities vary rapidly. Especially since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, volunteering is a common practice in all walks of life, becoming a volunteer service to the community, contributing to a beautiful card of others, and attracting more and more attention and praise.In addition, college students are the main force of volunteer service, and volunteerism is the purpose of voluntary service, therefore the volunteerism cultivation for modern Chinese college students is imperative.However, for the current college students volunteering limited institutional mechanisms and other reasons, volunteer service has not yet reached the normalization mechanism of degree, not yet fully integrated into people’s daily lives and economic and social life. And there is continuity between the cope and randomness, lack of development of voluntary service and guarantee long-term mechanism. Action only with the spirit of reasonable basis points, can it have the chance to play its role and long-term value. As the spiritual force support which behind the volunteer service activities, many of the volunteers do not fully understand the intrinsic value inherent power of voluntary action and volunteerism. Therefore, more attention spiritual motivation and intellectual support behind the action should be valued in order to support student voluntary action.In this paper, based on the current development of basic principles of Marxism and college students volunteer services, and combed the theoretical origins of volunteerism fine theoretical origin, reviewed the historical development and cultivation practices in terms of volunteerism in Europe and Asian countries or regions in order to find something useful. Through a questionnaire, analyze a true reflection of the status quo of college students to cultivate the spirit of volunteerism and the main problems existing as well as a variety of factors. That can foster volunteerism for college students made a number of path selection. Eventually, volunteerism nurturing of college students will become a way of life or survival of the state university students may choose in the future.
