Teaching about the historical figures of the intellectual is an important part of history teaching in the senior middle schools. The relevant knowledge of historical figures may well be an important way in moral education and personality education. Therefore, correct evaluation of historical figures for students to form correct healthy positive values and views have a negligible effect. This article presents some views for the personality evaluation of high school history. How do evaluate historical figures? Ancient historians put forward different perspectives which are called “Contending, flouring”, but some of evaluation standards is obviously debatable. This paper presents some suggestions and views to the views of the ancient and modern historians. Evaluation criteria is the core issue, for this issue I think the characters in the evaluation process of teaching, you should follow a basic standard. That is whether the behavior of historical figures in the fundamental interests of the country, whether from the front to promote overall social progress. Also the evaluation of historical figures should follow some basic principles, such as the correct use of the stage theory, aspects of theory. Meanwhile the evaluation of historical figures should also be aware of the following: Stick historical figures in specific historical conditions, the relationship between history and Moral Evaluation, motivation and effectiveness, political attitudes and academic, artistic attainments phase separated, integrity principles, principles of class analysis. The last part of the article was designed teaching content on the evaluation of Wang anshi.
