Research On The Opening-up Situation Of College Sports Stadiums In Henan Province

With the implementation of the "National Fitness Regulations", mass sports in China has been entered a new area. The opening of collage sports stadiums plays an important role in National fitness programs. Currently, inefficient use of collage sports stadiums and limited use availability to publics are wide spread phenomenon. Thus, how to utilize sports grounds of colleges and universities in a more scientific, efficient and reasonable way is a serious issue. This assignment include a research about the opening of collage sports stadiums in Henan province, which aims to provide some theoretical basis for how to improve collage sports stadiums availability to publics, promote mass sports and further collage sports studies.The object of this study is the current situation of collage sports stadiums in Henan province; documentary method, investigation method, mathematical statistics, field trip and logical analysis method were used to analyze social functions and social value of collage sports stadiums, development history of mass sports since reform and opening policies, current situation of participators and managers involved in college sports stadiums program. Also it analyzes constraints of public utilization of college sports stadiums. Suggested development strategies will be provided in the last part of this study.The research results illustrated four main issues exist in current college sports stadiums1, Inadequate and old facility issue2, limited opening hours to public3, charging standard issue of paid use sports stadiums4, less market-oriented operation of sports stadiums and limited economic benefitFour main suggestions:1, improve sports facility developments and strengthen investigation on sports stadiums, which can be paid in use to publics.2, increase opening time to publics3, set reasonable charging standard and half-price discount to students4, draw experience from foreign developed countries and increase contract operation to establish professional management and market-oriented mechanism.
