Under the popularization of higher educational situation in our country, the problem of talent training quality is worrisome, so how to maintain and improve the quality of higher education become the focus that academic and social circles pay close attention to. The tutorial system originated from Oxford is an effective talent training mode. Many subordinate universities in our country carried out the undergraduate tutorial system in the process of exploring the personnel training system. The implementation of the undergraduate tutorial system has deepened educational reform, prompted the cultivation of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, and promoted the smooth implementation of the credit system. To a certain extent, it has got a great improvement in the quality of the talent training. However, But from the practical level, there are lot of problems exist in the implementation of tutorial system because it is still in the initial stage of exploration, The emergence of these problems related not only to the characteristics of local colleges, but also to the unreasonable factors of the system itself. Only by a correct understanding of the actual situation of local universities and finding out the unreasonable factors in the operation of the system, can we find the appropriate countermeasures to improve the effectiveness of the tutorial system in the local colleges.Focusing on the core issue of the present situation and countermeasure of the tutorial system in the local colleges in China, this paper take Henan University as a case to investigate and deeply understand the present implementation situation of the tutorial system in local colleges, and analyze the problems and reasons of it. Several countermeasures to the existing undergraduate tutorial system are put forward. We hope to provide certain theoretical and practical reference for the same type of the undergraduate tutorial system implementation in the local colleges. This thesis mainly divided into the following five parts:The first part, the introduction mainly introduces reason for selecting the topic and research significance of this paper. The research status of undergraduate tutorial system at home and abroad are reviewed and analyzed, and the related concept is defined. Besides, the research train of thought and main research methods are introduced in this paper.The second part, the origin and development of the undergraduate tutorial system are mainly introduced. On this basis, the necessity and feasibility of the implementation of tutorial system for local colleges are analyzed detailed.The third part, we carried a questionnaire survey and interview on the implementation of the undergraduate tutorial system present situation the school of medicine, school of education science, school of computer engineering, as well as school of economics in Henan University. The statistical analysis of the investigation results of has been done in detail.The fourth part, on the basis of the investigation and lessons from the existing research results, we summarized and analyze the deep causes of the main problems in the process of the implementation of the undergraduate tutorial system in the local universities at present,.The fifth part is an attributive analysis of the problems of tutorial system in the process of implementation at the local colleges and universities in our country. Moreover, we put forward the basic countermeasures to solve the problem, namely, school administrators, teachers and students three sides make joint efforts to promote the smooth implementation of the tutorial system and achieve good results.
