| This study using the methods include of literature analysis,content analysis,and interview investigation.Analyzed the present situation of the implementation of Academic Tutor System in Local Universities,and put forward the improvement strategies.The first part mainly combs the history of Academic Tutor System.Expounded the origin and development process of Academic Tutor System at home and abroad,and clarified the relationship between Academic Tutor System and Tutorial System and the change process between them.The second part depends on the Interpersonal Needs theory,basing on it and the pre-interview results classified the Academic Tutor System,as well as made the operational definition as the theoretical framework of the later interview investigation.The third part mainly investigates the status of the implementation of Academic Tutor System in Local Universities.In the front of this part,text analysed 7 randomly selected Local Universities in Shandong Province,in order to understand if there is a problem in the system design.Next,conducted an interview investigation on academic tutors and their corresponding students,for the purpose of understanding their views on Academic Tutor System,and also knowing the specific implementation of Academic Tutorial System.The fourth part is based on the above investigation and analysis,deeply discussed the problems and the causes of them that existing in the implementation of the academic tutorial system in Local Universities.The fifth part offered four feasibility suggestions.Based on Schutz’s theory of Interpersonal needs,this study classified the academic tutor system,starting from the psychological characteristics and the needs of teacher-student interaction,and analyzes the current implementation of the academic tutor system in local universities by using in-depth interviews.It provides a useful reference for the construction of academic tutor system which is helpful to arouse the enthusiasm of teachers and students. |
