The Decision on the Foundation Education Reform And Development of State Council emphasize: Encouragement cooperative learning promote the students of mutually exchanges, common development, help the teachers and the students to learn while teaching. Cooperative learning raise in America in the 1970s. Cooperative learning is used to teaching practice in China in the 1990s. New curriculum reform advocates student self-in, cooperative learning, inquiry based learning. As the new curriculum reform is implementing, it is quite necessary to change the traditional mode of teaching It is a urgent affair to build cooperative learning mode. More and more people concern cooperative learning. Because it is characteristics of practice and language communication on English teaching in primary school. Cooperative learning is used in English class. Students taking part in this learning achieve the target of developing student of comprehensive ability of using language. Cooperative learning is one of the effective way to realize the goal of English teaching.. There is a serious phenomenon lacking of English teachers and language environment to practice. In the rural English classroom of special environment we implement cooperative learning in English. It strengthen the English learning motivation.Students can study independently and happily. The teachers liberate the heavy homework. For teachers and students of communication it provide more communicative opportunities to improve the relationship between teachers and students.This study is adopts the method of experiment to explore the method and effect of the implementation of cooperative learning in primary school English class. I summary and analysis of cooperative learning on teaching enlightenment in primary school. There are some questions to mainly study:Can cooperative learning improve study? Can cooperative learning strength learning motivation? Can cooperative learning improve the relationship between teachers and students?The experiment chooses two classes in fifth grade. Imply emending cooperative study teaching in experimental class and using traditional teaching in the common class. At the end of one semester educational experiment, writer analyses experimental results which includes the analysis of learning achievement, teacher-student relationship, learning motivation and how cooperative study affecting English achievement. Cooperative study has positive effect on English achievement. The English achievement of experimental class has been improved greatly after applying cooperative study, which proves that cooperative study is helpful for the improvement of English; cooperative study has positive effect on teacher-student relationship, which changes the idea that students should be afraid of teachers and establish harmonious teacher-student relationship; cooperative study has positive effect on learning motivation, which stimulates students’English learning interest, strengthen students’ learning motivation. Students’ intrinsic motivation is stronger than extrinsic motivation.I summarize the enlightenment of the study that cooperative study affects English teaching, which includes as follow:teachers should transfer teaching concept and regards students as the center of teaching and love students; teachers ought to establish right students concept and build harmonious teacher-student relationship in order to stimulate students’ learning desire and cooperative awareness; teachers should offer students the necessary guidance in cooperative study and promote each groups progress and each students progress. The writer pays more attention to cooperative study that has positive effect on teaching and teacher-student relationship through the research. The writer also realizes the importance of interaction and communication between students and teachers through the research.
