Academic procrastination refers to an irrational tendency of students, who have enough time and energy to do an essential study task, but postpone it or do not do it at all.The teacher-student relationship is special as the two differ in status. Which established and formed in the process of education and instruction because of their differences in status,role, and criterion behavior,by the mutual influence and effect of teachers and students. Domestic and overseas researchers have noted this influence and its effect on learning. (especially the teacher-student relationship)Learning motivation is to guide students’ learning activities, maintain learning activities, and to make learning activities tend to teachers targets set by the inner psychological process.The study used a questionnaire survey method, aimed at identifying the characteristics of pupils’academic procrastination, to study the relationship between teachers and students and learning motivation. Three research tools were "Academic Procrastination Questionnaire", "Teacher-Student Relationship Questionnaire" and "Learning Motivation Questionnaire". Collectively 410 questionnaires were distributed, and 406 valid questionnaires were recovered with an effective recovery rate of 99%. The main conclusions are as follows.(1) The pupils’academic procrastination has certain difference in gender and grade.(2) The teacher-student relationship is significantly affected by gender differences leading to attachment or conflict.(3)There is a significant correlation between teacher-student relationship and academic procrastination. The attachment, conflict and avoidance in teacher-student relationship have a certain predictive power to academic procrastination.(4) There is a significant grade difference in terms of task value and internal motivation of learning motivation.(5) There is a significant correlation between teacher-student relationship and learning motivation. The attachment and intimacy in teacher-student relationship have a certain predictive power to learning motivation.(6) The avoidance of teacher-student relationship, self-efficacy of learning motivation and test anxiety have a certain predictive power to academic procrastination.(7) The avoidance of teacher-student relationship has an influence on learning motivation, thereby affecting the procrastination level.
