Abstract/Summary:
With the promulgation and the implementation of the Decade Development Plan(2011-2020) on the Educational Information, the develop of virtual experiment is becoming one of the hottest research aspect nowadays. Although the virtual experiments has been widely used in education at present, the requirements of Ordinary High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards(experimental) that a variety of chemical experiments based exploration activities should be implemented is not so well achieved in real situation. For the limitation of exam-oriented education and the limited educational conditions, the implementation of explorative chemical experiments teaching has many frustrations in education. This paper was written to design and develop exploratory chemical virtual experiment to solve the problem, to enable the students to experience the process of experimental inquiry, to stimulate student interest in chemistry learning, to strengthen the students’ sense of scientific inquiry, to promote changes for better learning methods and to cultivate the students’ exploratory ability and associative thinking ability.The thesis first analyses the present research situation of the exploratory chemical experiments and virtual experiments in education at home and abroad, and then the necessity and significance to design and develop the exploratory chemical virtual experiment in high school is put forward. regards chemical experiment teaching as a precondition, based on the design principles of exploratory chemical virtual experiment in high school, the paper analyses the characteristics and teaching situation, as well as other aspects of the curriculum and learners of chemical experiment in high school. Then the author select design objects – take the experiments of factors which influence the chemical reaction rate as example, determine the design goals,make sure the content the interface and interaction to design.Secondly, to use Flash CS5 software, ActionScript3.0 and Flint particle technology to achieve the construction, to create laboratory equipment and instruments, to achieve interactive experiments and operations and to imitate the experimental phenomenon. And then developed into a situational and interesting exploratory virtual chemical experiment for high school.The next step is followed by the application of the exploratory chemical experiments in teaching. By allowing students to conduct virtual experiments themselves and interviewing and investigating teachers to investigate and analysis the information about the design, development, using effect and other information from teachers and students. The data collected is then used for further modifying and improving of the virtual experiments.Finally, the paper summarizes the problems and shortcomings and make the further research direction clear.
