The country promulgated the standards of physics curriculum in compulsory education in 2011,compulsory education physics curriculum should reflect the nature of physics, reflect the influence of physics on the social development; the comprehensive development of students, pay attention to students dealing with the future challenges of the social demand; should play an important role in cultivating physics science literacy of students. Physics science literacy as an important part of scientific literacy, plays an important role in cultivating students’ scientific literacy, therefore, should cultivate the students’ scientific literacy through physics course positively.This study is based on the scientific education theory, constructivism theory,using the method of literature and questionnaire survey method, do the research on the cultivation of junior middle school physics science literacy in Lintan County of Gansu province. Some students and teachers as the research object in H school. The study found:1.Students to master basic skill in the lab is not very good,with the basic skill to solve practical problems is difficult; In terms of process and methods, the students’ scientific thinking and scientific methods have not fostered;in terms of emotional attitude and values, students have the preliminary consciousness of cooperation,realistic, doubt, students can take pride in state science and technology progress,students have a strong patriotic enthusiasm, but lack of interest in physics learning and consciousness of beauty in physics.2.Teacher’ awareness of physical literacy content is generally in place, but for physics and social relation, the spirit of physics is an important content of physical literacy insufficient understanding, this is bound to cause the teachers in the teaching can strengthen the aspects of teaching; in the implementation of teaching, the traditional experiment teaching condition is bad, and for exploratory teaching,especially the zetetic experiment teaching for less; Most of the teachers also noticed the education value of history of physics, but in the implementation of the teaching islacking;Most of the teachers have noticed the humanistic value of physics, but didn’t get effective attention in the implementation of teaching.Finally, the author puts forward the corresponding proposal:1.Integrated into the history of physics in physics teaching; 2.In the physical teaching attaches great importance to the exploratory experimental teaching; 3.Integrated into beauty of physics in physics teaching; 4.carry out STS education in physics teaching.
