In the wave of physics education reform,people are paying more and more attention to the cultivation of students' scientific literacy.The revision of the physics curriculum standards further clarifies the stage of compulsory education.The physics curriculum should aim to improve the scientific literacy of all students.Experiments are the foundation of the physics subject.Experimental teaching occupies an important position in physics teaching.How to cultivate junior middle school students' scientific literacy from physics experiment teaching is a subject worth studying.The research on this subject is conducive to cultivating students' scientific literacy and helping teachers carry out physics experiment teaching in junior middle school.This article studies the research progress and achievements of scientific literacy and physics experiment teaching at home and abroad.It is found that there is less research on cultivating junior middle school students' scientific literacy through physics experiment teaching.On the basis of literature research,the concept analysis of scientific literacy and physics experiment teaching is conducted,and the three educational teaching theories of constructivism,discovery learning,and middle school education are used as theoretical guidance.Through the form of students' questionnaire and teachers' interview,the present situation of cultivating students' scientific literacy through Physics Experiment Teaching in two junior middle schools in Y city was investigated.According to the classification of junior middle school physics experiments,according to the guidance of teaching theory,combined with the current status of physics experiment teaching to cultivate junior middle school students 'scientific literacy,it is proposed to cultivate students' scientific literacy from classroom demonstration experiments,student grouping experiments and after-class experiments,and formulate a scientific literacy horizon The implementation strategy of junior middle school physics experiment teaching.According to this,the "refracted light" classroom demonstration experiment teaching case,the "plane mirror imaging" student grouping experiment teaching case,"Floating sinker" "heat expansion and contraction and micro-deformation demonstrator" after-class experiment teaching case.The corresponding teaching practice was carried out in a junior middle school,and the teaching feedback survey showed that the use of physics experiment teaching can cultivate the scientific literacy of junior middle school students to a certain extent.
